What in the world do DIYers do when the house is done?
I mean for most of us (or maybe just me?), we’ve spent years on do-it-yourself projects fixing up the house.
Years.
Not only doing the projects, but also planning and maybe even a little fixing of the projects that didn’t turn out quite right. It becomes a big part of who you are as a person, it’s how you spend all your weekends and free time. Imagine the shock when there’s nothing left to do.
Now, I’m not done, not even close, with my house. The stair case still haunts me and there’s that tricky base board that I can’t get to bend around the round wall in the game room not to mention the whole upstairs. But, enough of it is done that I got to wondering how the other half live. I know there must be people out there that live in houses that are not in desperate need of updating.
What do they do with themselves?
I can imagine that they must be sitting around in their project-free homes sipping wine, thumbing through magazines with their feet up. Glamorous.
Just a heads up – I’d go bat crazy.
I need something to paint – something build – something to redecorate & re-redecorate.
Yeah, so basically when I’m sitting around sipping wine – I’m thumbing through catalogs, not magazines. Planning the next project. Everything around here can be bigger/better/brighter! Just living the dream :^)

Terry found it kinda tart at first, but said it grows on you after a second taste. Joe S. & Misty both liked it. I thought it tasted fruity, Misty agreed.

Steve insisted we try this Napa Red Blend. We rarely get such an expensive bottle! After his first taste he announced, ‘I like this.’ Joe R. commented that it had a great aroma, and said, ‘WOW’ on his first taste. Becky said it tasted earthy/tobacco. Misty found it to be full bodied. Larry tasted black current and said it was smooth. I loved the aroma of berries. Everyone agreed, it was perfectly paired with the Chocolate Cake we had! Thanks for hosting Terry & Larry.
4.1/5 stars from Vivino.com Pretty great reviews from their experts:
The wine is a great surprise. Clearly over delivers with its pleasant ripe fruit (typical Napa flavors) and soft roundness. Think the small portion of Merlot is doing a great job in this wine
Wonderful wine! Clear, purple color with a clear, thin rim. Medium intense, very balanced Bordeaux red blend from Romeo Vineyards, Napa. Medium intense aroma of black plum and fine barrel spices. Palate is black & blue fruit all over, cocoa and a long, sweet finish
Pretty impressed and am really enjoying this in spite of the vintage. Made with fruit from the vineyard Chateau Montelana owned until 1997. Big, round, complex layers from the medoc style blend of Cabernet sauvignon, petite verdot, and Cabernet franc. The petite verdot shows through given the type of tightness in the wine associated with petit verdot’s smaller Berry size
